Remote Boardgaming through the “Vorpal Board” site

Vorpal Board: The not-too-expensive (currently out of stock except for the RPG version) new hybrid solution – Physical hardware + a website that let’s you play nearly any board game remotely.

It connects one video camera on a crane arm above the board game table, and a second in a makeshift scanner box. It let’s you deal cards in real time face down to other players.

Limitations are that it works best when the host who owns the game plays only with all other remote players, as opposed to two houses with 2 people each for example.
